The Biochemistry Laboratory Manual based on Kathmandu University (KU) Syllabus is a book of biochemistry laboratory exercises for medical and dental students. There are a total of twenty three experiments that students do over a course of two years. Experiments are arranged to follow the organ system wise syllabus of KU and students learn relevant testing in the lab pertaining to a system concomitantly. The focus of performing the experiments is more on clinical relevance which is emphasized by the question and answer exercises at the end of each chapter. Space is provided to recording of results, calculations and writing answers. Methods to prepare reagents are provided at the end of the book chapter wise. Reference biochemical values are also provided for quick reference for clinical correlations and comments on results.
